This site is for preserving the visual history of the St. John’s, NL alternative scene from 1977 to the 2000’s. The bands, the scenes, the zines. On T-shirts!!

These are beautifully detailed recreations of original Tee’s, CD & Zine covers, posters, business and bar logos and other memories from that time period. All T-shirts are printed using DTF (direct to film) technology.

PLEASE NOTE: DTF printing is similar to an iron-on, but way more advanced so there will be some texture/thickness on the graphic. However, all designs will have the black or white keyed out (depending on graphic and shirt colour) for less ink usage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPrX0dKKGvk

The shirts sale for $35 CAN (Tax Included) with 63% of sales going to the printer to cover the costs of the shirt, taxes, production and distribution, 33.5% goes to the artist(s), 2.3% to Screech NL for operation costs and 1.2% to the Roberta Thomas Legacy Award. Over 90% of ALL artists are donating their FULL royalties to this AWARD as well. (Please allow up to 2 weeks for orders to be processed).
 
NEW SHIPPING OPTION: Shipping is now $5.00 per shirt (this includes tax, packaging and postal fee) anywhere in Canada. If you live in St. John’s, NL or surrounding area you can arrange to pick up the shirt at the printers – with no shipping fee! At the moment shipping is only available within Canada. Please email us at contact@screechnl.com for orders outside Canada and we will do our best to make arrangements.
